YOUNG tennis players Cameron McIntosh and Luis Ordonez were the victims of a fun prank from the presenters of a TV show.
The prank was played on the youngsters by Sam Nixon and Mark Rhodes, who host the CBBC children’s show Sam and Mark’s Big Friday Wind Up.
Unsuspecting Knutsford Tennis Club juniors Cameron and Luis had been put forward to take part in the popular prank show.
Sam and Mark posed as guest coaches at Knutsford Tennis Club, and hidden cameras recorded their hilarious antics.
“The celebrity presenters dressed up to convince the unsuspecting victims that they were famous tennis coaches,” said club secretary Moya Meredith.
“The boys were taken in game, set and match!
“The club was delighted to provide a venue for the show, and it was fascinating to watch the camera crew at work as they hid in wheelie bins and behind bushes.”
CBBC has offered junior members of Knutsford Tennis Club places to visit the show’s studio-based recordings at Media City later this year.
The programme featuring Cameron and Luis at the tennis club is expected to be shown in December or January.
