WITH Make a Will Month just around the corner, charity-minded solicitors in Holmes Chapel and Knutsford are urging residents to put their affairs in order.
Thorneycroft Solicitors, of London Road, Holmes Chapel, and Dellapina Law Solicitors, on Brook Street, Knutsford, are showing their support for Will Aid’s annual campaign by offering to write basic Wills without charging their normal fee.
All that is asked is in return is that clients consider making a voluntary donation to Will Aid. The suggested donation is £95 for a single Will or £150 for a pair of mirror Wills.
The money raised will be shared by nine charities, including Age UK, British Red Cross, Christian Aid, NSPCC and Save the Children.
Shirley Marsland, Will Aid campaign manager, said: “This is a perfect opportunity to have a solicitor draw up your Will, protect your loved ones and give charity at the same time. Please book soon as solicitors tent to fill their appointments very quickly.”
