A SUCCESSFUL make-up artist has chosen Knutsford for the location of her flagship beauty boutique and training academy.

Lynette Page, who has worked with everyone from stars on the red carpet to supermodels at London Fashion Week, has set up shop on Minshull Street.

The mum-of-three has sent several years developing her own range of make-up, which recently launched and will be on sale at the self-titled make-up bar.

She said: “Using the laws of colour theory to harmonise skin, I have designed highly pigmented products with innovative formula's to create beautiful textures that enhance beauty, rather than mask it.

“Applying makeup is a joy for me and I believe every woman should feel the same about their makeup regime. We've created a line of cosmetics that take the guess work out of choosing the right products.

“No-more cluttered makeup bags, just the right shades, tones and textures made only for you.”

Other services offered include make-up lessons and applications. The Minshull Street location will also house the Lynette Page Training Academy.

Lynette told the Guardian why she chose Knutsford to launch her brand.

She said: "When searching for a premises for my flagship store and training academy I had the whole of the Northwest to play with.

“I wanted to be somewhere with lots of independent retailers because I'm passionate about supporting local, independents also a place with thriving restaurants and bars.

“I chose Knutsford exactly for these reasons - I love its community spirit and genuine support for independent businesses, it's also 25 minutes from my home in Kelsall, Tarporley and most importantly on route for school drop offs.

“Growing up in Chorlton in Manchester I'd often drive out to Tatton Park and loved spending time in the area so I've actually been coming to Knutsford for a very long time, who knew I'd end up visiting every day.”
