ABBEYFIELD Knutsford Society showed its appreciation for one its longest serving volunteers last month.
At the society’s Summer Party on August 14, solicitor Tony Weir and his wife Margaret were presented with a picture of the house from the society’s chairman Tony Billingham.
This was to acknowledge Tony’s involvement in a voluntary capacity over the years, as founder member and trustee of Abbeyfield, and honourary president of the society.
