A DISPLAY about the First World War featuring work from village school children has gone on display in a Chelford church.
Children from Chelford Primary School had some of their work commemorating the First World War on display alongside photos and other artefacts of many of the young men of Chelford and surrounding villages who fought during the great War.
The picture shows Sue Roycroft, Church Warden of St. John's Chelford, left, with Alison Scott, headteacher at Chelford C of E Primary School holding some of the children's commemorative
contributions.
The 'August Teas & First World War Commemorative Exhibition' is being held at St.John's Church, Chelford every Sunday during August from 2.30pm until 4.30pm.
