TWO Knutsford students are amongst Withington Girls’ School’s A-level star performers.
Hattie Dufton achieved 3 A grades in Maths, History and Geography and an A* in her EPQ, and will now go on to study Geography at UCL.
Fellow student and Knutsfordian Hannah Loftus secured 4 A grades in Geography, Psychology, Gov and Politics and General Studies, and will enrol in Bristol University to read Politics and International Relations.
This year, 28.9 percent of all entries passed at A*, 76.5 percent A* to A, and 95.7 percent A* to B.
“‘I am delighted for our girls and their families,” said Headmistress Sue Marks. “These outstanding results reflect our students’ high academic ability and strong work ethic, as well as the excellent teaching and pastoral care that they have received throughout their time at Withington.”
