GUSTO pipped its fellow traders to the post and named overall winner of the town-centre window display competition.
The King Street restaurant and bar bowled RHS judges over with its impressive Alice & Wonderland floral display.
Knutsford Bloom helped Gusto achieve its story-book look and the restaurant team said they were ‘over the moon’ to receive the award.
Stefanie Meachin, Gusto’s business development manager, said: “I am absolutely delighted to receive the award for ‘Best shop window display’. A lot of planning and thought was put into this theme, and I would like to say a huge thank you to Knutsford Bloom for bringing our ideas to life.”
Gusto throw Mad Hatter bash for B Positive
BUILDING on its RHS theme, Gusto held a charity Mad Hatters Tea Party on Wednesday July 23.
The event was to raise money for Knutsford-based B Positive, a support network connecting patients, families and friends affected by acute leukaemia.
A raffle and Gusto donation helped raise over £400 for the cause on the day.
General manager Mirek Bulka said: ““We are delighted to be able to help local charities through events throughout the year, being a part of the local community is very important to our company ethos.
“I would like to thank everybody that attended this event and made it such a success especially Stefanie and all the staff involved to make this possible.”
