MARIE Curie is asking Knutsfordians to get their walking boots on and picnic supplies in.
The cancer care charity’s 10k fundraising event, Walk Ten, will take place at Tatton Park on Saturday August 9.
The event will kick-off at 5.30pm, followed by family entertainment including fireworks, live music and picnics.
Registration closes at 9am on the Monday before the event. It cost £10 to enter and participants are asked to raise as much money as possible in support of Marie Curie Cancer Care. All funds raised will help Marie Curie provide care, free of charge, to terminally ill people in their own homes. Children under 16 go free. Late-registration on the day is £20.
