MP Fiona Bruce spent time helping St Luke’s volunteers at the Holmes Chapel appeal day last month.
Fiona Bruce, who is vice president of St Luke’s, joined volunteers Julie Hill-Smith, and Mary Cleal in Holmes Chapel.
The trio were fundraising for the hospice by selling tickets for the St Luke’s summer draw.
Fiona said: “The growing commitment of St Luke’s volunteers never ceases to amaze me as well as the variety of projects which they undertake for the Hospice.
“It was a pleasure to hear today from Julie Hill Smith of the work which she and her husband have done to put in an irrigation system for the St Luke’s vegetable garden assisted with advice from Morrey’s of Holmes Chapel.”
The summer draw costs £1 to enter and the top prize will be a Ford Fiesta Zetec as well as several cash prizes.
