Man cut free from van after Over Peover collision
A MAN had to be cut free from a van following a road traffic collision on the A50 on Saturday July 19.
Fire crews were called to the Over Peover road around 11.40am following reports a van had collided with a wall. Crews cut free a man who was trapped inside the van and released him to the care of paramedics.
Police closed the A50 while the rescue was being carried out.
