A50 closed at Mere after cyclist collision
POLICE have closed part of the A50, close to the A556 junction in Mere after a cyclist was knocked off their bike.
The incident happened shortly after 1.20pm.
A man was knocked off his bike and initially the vehicle failed to stop. But a short time later officers pulled it over.
Due to the injuries caused an air ambulance is to arrive at the scene and the road will be closed while this takes place.
