Knutsford Guardian: Children have their faces painted at the Egerton Pre-School summer fair. Children have their faces painted at the Egerton Pre-School summer fair.

EGERTON Pre-School, a registered charity, raised nearly £1,400 at its summer fair on Saturday, July 12.

Children enjoyed face painting, crafts and a treasure hunt and won prizes at the tombola, tin can alley and bash-a-rat.

The barbecue food was donated by Woods Butchers of Princess Street, Knutsford, Littlers Butchers of Northwich and Roberts Bakery.

The Co-operative and Alan's Fruit and Veg stall of Knutsford Market also kindly contributed to the day.

The raffle included prizes donated by Guy Salmon, Cottons Spa, Gauntlet Birds of Prey Eagle and Vulture Park, Hal Whittaker, and Planet Play.

Topped off with sunny weather, the fair made for a fantastic time for all in the pre-school’s lovely garden.
