A PUBLIC meeting is to take place tomorrow night, Tuesday, for Knutsfordians to have their say on the future of the Sessions House on Toft Road.

The Ministry of Justice announced two weeks ago that it was looking on closing the court house after revealing it had not been used since 2010.

A meeting will take place in the Jubilee Hall on July 15 between 5pm and 6pm.

The purpose of the meeting is to enable all interested parties to ask questions, or to address points of clarification, about the content of the consultation document before the consultation period closes on August 6.

The meeting will be led by Paul McGladrigan, the HMCTS North West Region Head of Crime, and will provide a full opportunity to discuss the HMCTS proposal as part of this six week local consultation on the court’s future.

For any further advice or information in advance of the meeting please contact Ann Elliott on 0161 240 5007.
