SHOPPERS and staff from the Booths store in Knutsford will be lacing up their walking boots to take part in the Prince’s Countryside Fund’s Walk a Country Mile campaign on Sunday, July 20.

The walk will take place in Tatton Park and is part of a campaign to raise awareness of the importance of the countryside to the UK during National Countryside Week.

All of Booths’ 29 stores across the north west will be participating in the campaign, and they hope to encourage members of the public to join in and embrace the great outdoors.

Edwin Booth, chairman of Booths, is a trustee of the Prince’s Countryside Fund.

He said: “We are proud of our roots and of the inspiring farmers who supply us.”

You can sign up to the walk by visiting Booths Knutsford store.

The walk will start at 11am and finish back at the store at around 12.30pm, when Booths will be providing food and refreshments.
