ST Vincent Primary School’s annual Party in the Park will take place on the school fields on Saturday.

Lauded as Knutsford’s answer to Glastonbury, the day – held between noon and 4.30pm – features live bands, dancers and entertainment, face painting and fun tattoos, a beer tent, hog roast, steam engine rides, tug of war, bouncy castle and much more.

A live and silent auction will take place with lots for everyone, including a seaside break for up to 10 people, an evening out in a chauffeur driven Bentley and gym membership.

Companies donating to the auction include Bentley Manchester, Pulse of Perfumery, Jonathan Farber, Cranage Hall, David and Debbi Lever and the Legh Arms.

Pupils entered a competition to choose the logo for PIP this year, with the two winning entries coming from Jacob Kasmir and Lydia Hague.

Last year, the PTA raised almost £7,500 with this event and it is hoping to do the same this year.

Gates open at noon and admission is £2.50 for adults, £1 for children and £7 for a family ticket.

To bid in the auction prior to the day, complete your details on a piece of paper and include your name/signature, contact details and the amount you would like to bid.

Then return it to St. Vincent’s – school office or playground postbox – no later than Thursday.

Please mark your bids ‘PTA: Live Auction’.

You can also bid on the day by submitting a bid prior to the auction, which is being held at 2.15pm and after the tug of war.
