THE two lucky winners of a Knutsford charity raffle have been announced.
Over the past few months, sisters Bernadette Gunter and Vanessa Ashton have been selling raffle tickets to raise money for Women V Cancer.
Reporter Cara Cunningham had the honour of picking the winning tickets from the tombola and the Guardian can now name the winners.
‘Mr Williams from Parkgate’ is the proud owner of a new BBQ and ‘Steve from North West Trucks’ won a meal at Knutsford Wine Bar.
Bernadette wanted to thank family, friends, colleagues and visitors to this year’s Knutsford Lions Street Fayre who all dug deep to buy tickets and help the cause.
Women V Cancer is a partnership between Breast Cancer Care, Ovarian Cancer Action and Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust.
