SCARLET Broadbent was treated to a luxurious ride on Saturday to enjoy her crowning moment.
Scarlet was taken to Plumley Village Hall in a Rolls Royce, where she was crowned as Plumley Rose Queen by the retiring queen.
Following the ceremony Knutsford Mayor Clr Neil Forbes opened the Plumley Village Fun Day, which included traditional stalls, a craft fair and a bouncy castle.
There was a display of vintage cars, Animalz Take Over from Winsford, a Jo Jingles music class demonstration and folk group Bo Weavil.
Scarlet was accompanied in the Rolls Royce by chief attendant Alexandra Richardson and maid of honour Imogen Sanderson.
The other attendants were Megan Riley, Eve Peacock and Amy Hodgson, and the Plumley Princess was Isabel Smith.
The fun day was organised by Sarah Sanderson and Michelle Moores.
“It was a fantastic day, and the weather held out,” said Sarah.
“It was well attended, and everyone had a really good time.”
