TWO men were arrested for drug offences following a police search in Knutsford earlier this week.

The arrests took place at an address in Warren Avenue shortly after 7.30am on Monday June 23.

A 20-year-old man was cautioned for possession of Class A drugs, cocaine, and a 53-year-old man was cautioned for producing Class B drugs, cannabis.

Sgt Brian Hulse said: “Acting on information a successful warrant was conducted at the address and several cannabis plants and equipment were seized for destruction. As a result two men were arrested and later cautioned.

“Growing cannabis can get you more than a criminal record, it could affect your domestic circumstances - you could lose your house or your job. Illegal drugs can ruin lives.

“In order to help us tackle the issue I would urge anyone with information on drug use or dealing to call 101.”
