MARIE Curie is encouraging Knutsford supporters to put their best foot forward this summer.
Walk Ten at Tatton Park is part of a series of 10k evening walks at locations around the UK.
The Tatton Park event will take place on August 9 at 5.30pm and, as well as the main event, there will be family entertainment, including fireworks, live music and picnics.
Lyn Partridge, community fundraiser for Cheshire at Marie Curie, said: “Walk Ten is a unique event that gives people the chance to enjoy a summer evening with family and friends and walk in beautiful surroundings, followed by a festival atmosphere and activities for all ages.
“By signing up for Walk Ten at Tatton Park and raising funds, you’ll be helping to make it possible for Marie Curie to provide more care to people with terminal illnesses, and vital emotional support to their families, at the time when they need it the most.”
Registration is £10 per person and children under 16 go free. On the night adult registration is £20.
