RABBIT owners are being encouraged to hop on down to Pets at Home in Knutsford this weekend.

The Canute Place store is holding a series of free workshops on how to care for rabbits responsibly, in support of Rabbit Awareness Week (May 10-18).

The workshops will take place at 12pm this weekend, May 10 and 11, and next weekend, May 17 and 18, and the store team will be on hand to provide information and advice on how best to keep pet rabbits healthy and happy.

Store manager Louise Taylor said: “Rabbits are the UK’s third most popular pet, making rewarding pets for adults and supervised older children. They’re highly intelligent, social, interactive and fun creatures that are extremely clean and can even be litter trained.

“They have very individual and distinct personalities, and often live over ten years old, so having a rabbit as a pet is a long-term commitment.”

For more advice or information, call in-store and speak to a member of staff.
