ROLL up, roll up! The circus is in town.
Knutsford student Erin Crowley beat off stiff competition from 40 other prep school artists to be crowned winner of a circus-themed art competition at Moreton Hall last month.
As part of an earlier workshop, the pupils started work on a painting, which they were asked to finish at home and submit their photographs, and Terra Nova student Erin took first place.
Terra Nova’s head of art Fiona Fontes, who is currently working with Erin and two other Year 7 art scholars, said: “Erin’s piece was very unique and she is an incredibly worthy winner. Had there been a runners-up category, I am sure Abigail Pickersgill and Eve Baker Wilbraham would have been in the frame.”
