KNUTSFORD slimmers are celebrating losing 16st and 2lbs between them and raising £120 as part of a sponsored slim for East Cheshire Hospice.
Members of the Knutsford Saturday Slimming World group, which is held every week at St Vincent Church, took part in a six-week campaign to lose pounds whilst raising money for a good cause.
Linsey, who runs the group, said the ‘Slim for Good’ campaign gave members an added incentive to achieve their weight loss goal.
“For many members being sponsored has been a great way to kick-start their weight loss and for others it’s been a boost to help them stay on track,” she added.
“I’m so proud of what the members in the group have achieved during the last six weeks.”
Anyone who wishes to join the Knutsford Slimming World group is welcome every Saturday at 9.30am at St Vincent Church on Tatton Street.
