CURZON will be hosting ‘tasty’ taster screenings with a little spice this May Day weekend.
The Toft Road cinema will be showing special screenings of ‘The Lunchbox’ on May 2 and 3.
The story follows the developing relationship between a young housewife and an older man, who become connected via a mistakenly delivered dabba in Mumbai’s famously efficient meal delivery system.
Knutsford takeaway Spices is working alongside Curzon to provide ‘lunch boxes’ for the evening screenings.
Curzon’s Duty Manager Adam Morgan said: “We thought it would be a great way to add an extra dimension to the screening, bringing a gastronomic experience and the authentic aroma of Indian cooking to the venue in line with the film’s story.”
Standard peak tickets prices are £8.50, with an additional charge of £3.50 for the taster box, if required.
Bookings for the taster box need to be made over the cinema counter by cash. For screening times visit curzoncinemas.com.
