RESIDENTS and staff at Tabley House Nursing Home donned lycra and sweatbands recently – all in aid of Sport Relief.
To celebrate last month’s charity event, Tabley House hosted an afternoon packed with sporting activities, which included a mile walk and wheelchair push, several rounds of skittles and hoopla, followed by residents’ favourite aperitif, sherry.
Matron at Tabley House Karen Lynskey said: “It’s great when staff and residents come together and do something to help others – especially as it’s so much fun.
“A big thank you to everyone who took part, and we hope the £50 raised goes some way in helping Sport Relief support some of society’s most vulnerable people.”
