Sarah's new health business is fighting fit

A MUM-of-two, who shed 50lbs in just seven months, is starting a new health and fitness programme to help women over 30 get in shape.
Sarah Latham, from Cranage, is pledging life-changing results for women across Cheshire by offering nutritional support and personal training sessions to people under her new business, I Live Healthy.
“I know how hard taking the first step can be. I Live Healthy is a very supportive way to make the change because I’ve been there and done it,” said the 38-year-old.
Athletic as a child, the weight crept up on Sarah in her mid-20s. A number of factors contributed to her weight gain, including her sedentary job working in a call centre, tucking into takeaways and wine with husband Mark and pregnancy.
In a bid to lose the weight, Sarah tried slimming clubs, milk shakes and a variety of crash diets and, although she would lose weight, she would always pile it back on in the end.
Fed up of counting points, calories and syns, Sarah and Mark decided to take action for good and signed up with a personal trainer.
The trainer developed a programme for Sarah that fit around her busy lifestyle and, after seven months, Sarah had lost 50lbs – dropping from a size 18 to a trim size 10.
“Many diet and fitness professionals don’t understand the pressures that the everyday woman has to face,” said Sarah.
“I felt like there was never enough time to look after myself properly. But if you can follow some simple rules about your diet and commit to 30 minutes of the right exercise three times a week, you can change your life forever.”
