BUNNY rabbits will be hopping their way to Knutsford this Easter.

Following the success of last year’s Pumpkin Path, Knutsford retailers have once again rallied together to create a holiday event with a difference – the Bunny Hop.

Families will be wandering the streets on Saturday April 19 as they hunt for the 18 hidden letters held by Knutsford’s very own bunny rabbits scattered around the town.

Business development manager of Gusto, Steff Meachin, was instrumental in creating the event.

“The great part of the Bunny Hop is that it is an all-day event, allowing families to wander around town, enjoy the shops and gathering goodies on the way,” she said.

“The Pumpkin Path brought a great sense of community into Knutsford and I hope this event does exactly the same.”

Entry postcards have been dropped off at most primary schools to go home in reading bags and can also be picked up from retailers across the town. There will also be a cut out version, along with a map, in next week’s Guardian.

Julia Chard from Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe is one of the retailers taking part.

“I will always be investing my time and energy to help build on the amazing community spirit in our town and can’t wait for the Bunny Hop,” she said.

Knutsford Bloom is sponsoring the event, which will be held from 10am-4pm on April 19. For more information follow @kbunnyhop on twitter.
