KNUTSFORDIANS can toast to the town’s Crowning Glory of a year with a special cocktail party at the heritage centre next month.
The Crowning Glory Cocktail Celebration will be held in the centre’s hidden courtyard garden and galleries on Thursday May 8, and will raise funds needed to keep the centre open and thriving.
King Street bar and restaurant Gusto, as well as providing canapés for the evening, will be creating the signature cocktail – with Hunters Gin providing the essential ingredient.
Steff Meachin, business development manager at Gusto, said: “Knutsford Heritage Centre holds a large part of Knutsford’s history and is a tourist attraction worth visiting.
“We will continue to support this amazing charity and its passionate volunteers in order for such events to continue and thrive.”
Edmundson Electrical has also been announced as the main sponsor of the event.
“The Service Centre has been based in Knutsford since 1976 and we are pleased to be associated with the Knutsford Heritage Centre,” said Gill Collins, PA to Edmundson’s managing director.
“We give local support throughout the year and are particularly pleased to sponsor the Crowning Glory Celebration.”
Centre volunteer Val Bryant thanked Gusto, Hunters Gin and Electrical Edmundson for their support.
The Crowning Glory Cocktail Celebration will take place from 6-8pm on May 8. Tickets cost £12.50 per person and include a free cocktail and canapés.
