SMALL Lane in Mobberley is to be closed to traffic next week to allow the road to be resurfaced.
The road is to be shut from its junction with Hobcroft Lane/Station Road to its junction with Broadoak Lane.
The closure is to come into operation next Tuesday, April 8, and the road will be shut between 8am and 5pm.
Cheshire East Council said the closure was necessary to enable the highways department to carry out surface dressing patching works.
The road will close until the works have been completed, up to a maximum of five days.
The alternative diversion route will be via Hobcroft Lane, Church Lane, Town Lane, Broadoak Lane, Pepper Street and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained, and vehicle access for emergency vehicles and residents where possible.
