Pickmere Lane due to shut for repairs
PICKMERE Lane at Pickmere is to shut to allow a highways team to carry out surface dressing patching repairs.
The B5391 is to close from its junction with Flittogate Lane to Linnards Lane.
The closure will run from Tuesday, April 8, for as long as is needed to carry out the works, up to a maximum of five days.
The road will be closed from 8am to 5pm, and the alternative diversion route will be via the B5391 Church Street, A559 Hall Lane, A559 Manchester Road, A556 Chester Road and vice versa.
Pedestrian access will be maintained, and vehicle access for emergency vehicles and residents where possible.
