A MEETING to discuss Natural England’s recent studies of the Moor Pool and Tatton Mere will take place on April 7.
Knutsford Town Council have co-ordinated a presentation by Natural England to take place on Monday at the Jubilee Hall.
Dr Michael Dobson, Principal Fresh Water Consultation for APEM Limited, will present a short talk on Tatton Mere and Moor Pool covering water quality issues and management options.
He said: “The talk will include some scientific detail but there will also be enough background information to make the talk accessible to the general public.”
Town Clerk Adam Keppel-Garner said: “The Environment Committee has been working with Natural England and other partners to seek improvements to the management of the Moor Pool so as to ensure that the fish deaths experienced in the past do no reoccur.
“We encourage anyone who is interested to attend and find out more.”
