Show will boast 600 costumes

KNUTSFORD Musical Theatre Company is to take its latest production on the road.

The young entertainers will perform the music of hit West End shows in their Showstoppers revue at The Grange Theatre, Hartford, between May 22 and 24.

Among them will be one of KMTC’s youngest members, Toby Abbott, who auditioned for the part of Charlie in the London production of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory last year.

The show’s wardrobe department is busy working on the 600 costumes the company will wear, with cast members having at least one costume change each.

One notable scene to look out for will be Story of My Life from Shrek, during which a host of fairytale characters in including Pinocchio, the Three Bears and the Big Bad Wolf will take to the stage at the same time.

Tickets are £8 to £12, and are available from grangetheatre.com or by calling box office on 0844 8700887.
