A KNUTSFORD nursery celebrated its first year in business with a jam-packed birthday bash on March 4.

Clr Vivien Davies joined babies, toddlers, parents and staff at Poppies Day Nursery, on Sugar Pitt Lane, in marking the milestone last week.

Children were treated to a host of activities, including a visit from Jo Jingles, Bizzy Babies, little Olympians and story time from Knutsford Library.

Clr Davies was honoured with the cutting of the birthday cake at the special Teddy Bears Picnic and money was also raised for Children’s Adventure Farm Trust through a cake sale.
