CURZON went for full Hollywood glamour when it celebrated its first anniversary last week.

The Toft Road venue hosted a sold-out birthday event on February 27 – with a special screening of NT Live:  National Theatre’s War Horse.

Guests were given the five star treatment, as they were greeted with glasses of fizz, canapés, and other treats on the night.

Curzon Manager Maggie Ashworth said: “It all went perfectly - we had a great night.

“We would say thank you to Stephanie Meachin at Gusto for the food, David Booth for the Cotton Spa Day prizes and Peter Murray from Pulse of Perfumery for the lovely samples.”

Due to high demand, another date has been released for NT’s War Horse screening.

An encore performance will take place on Thursday March 13 and tickets are still available for this performance.
