RESIDENTS at Tabley House Nursing Home celebrated a Michelin-style Valentine’s Day this year.
Together with the activity staff, residents enjoyed an aperitif before baking some heart-shaped, iced shortbread on February 14.
The biscuits were served alongside an afternoon tea or presented to relatives as a Valentine’s token.
Matron at Tabley House Karen Lynskey said: “It’s very important to us that we make Valentine’s Day special for all residents and their families and that everyone feels they are part of a warm, kind and loving environment.
“Love – certainly of good food at any rate – was definitely in the air at Tabley House this Valentine’s Day.”
