CHESHIRE’S leading deafness charity will be taking its mobile advice centre to Mobberley on February 18.

As part of the charity’s ‘Hear it Here’ campaign, Deafness Support Network will be parking its specially equipped electric vehicle at Mobberley Community Centre tomorrow from 10am-12pm.

Hearing loss experts will be on hand to offer information and advice about securing equal access to services and employment opportunities for those with hearing loss.

Gill Reeder, Executive Operations for DSN, said: “We’re delighted to be taking our team on the road and bringing our services to communities across Cheshire.

“Many people with hearing-loss simply do not have convenient access to transport and cannot take advantage of the services available from our centres, so the mobile advice centre means we can now bring DSN to their door-step.”

Tomorrow’s session is on a drop-in basis and a member of the team will also be available in the afternoon for anyone who requires a home visit.

A home visit can be booked at the event or by calling the team direct on 01606 47831.
