Smith Lane closed for five nights
A MOBBERLEY road will be closed during the night until Saturday to allow Network Rail to carry out essential repairs.
Cheshire East Council has closed Smith Lane from its junction with B5085 Town Lane to its junction with Broadoak Lane while repairs to the stonework at the Railway Bridge are carried out.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and vehicular access will be maintained for emergency vehicles and residents where possible.
The Council anticipates the works will be carried out nightly from 10 pm to 6pm hours until Saturday, February 15.
The alternative route suggested is via Broadoak Lane, B5085 Knutsford Road, B5085 Town Lane and vice versa.
