THOSE who appreciate the finer things in life can pick up a piece of history at The Mere this weekend.
The Luxury Antiques Weekend at The Mere will make a return from February 7-9.
The fair will play host to around 30 specialist dealers offering a range of antique goods including paintings, drawings, furniture, jewellery, sculptures and vintage designer clothing.
Now in its third year, the fair has proved popular with collectors, interior decorators and private and corporate buyers.
Some of the highlights from this year’s fair include three drawings from renowned northern artist LS Lowry and paintings by Manchester artist Geoffrey Key.
Mike Melody, of ‘Dickinson’s Real Deal’ fame, will also be exhibiting a selection of country furniture and pieces.
The fair will be in operation from 11am-6pm on Friday, 10.30am-6pm on Saturday and 10.30am-5pm on Sunday.
Tickets cost £5, to include catalogue and re-admission. For more information call 01797 252030
