A KING Street-based restaurant has had a busy start to the New Year raising money for the British Red Cross.
Gusto spent December raising money for the British Red Cross, with a total of £1,807 raised for the good cause.
Clare Henderson, community fundraising manager, British Red Cross, said: “I would like to thank Gusto so much for their on-going support of British Red Cross fundraising activities over the last few years, organising regular Christmas party events that are always well attended, initiatives in support of Red Cross Week plus members of the team have participated in the Great North Run, abseiled off Runcorn Bridge and even joined in the local Santa Dash.
“The team are innovative and great to work with and do a wonderful job of helping to promote the work of Red Cross locally with their customers.”
Mirek Bulka, general manager of Gusto Knutsford, added: “I would like to thank each and every guest that dined with us in December and contributed to supporting this great charity without the contribution from yourselves we wouldn’t be able to make such a huge impact on this charity.”
