Don’t Freeze This Winter: Futureproof launches campaign with charity partner Energy Projects Plus Rising energy bills and stagnant incomes mean that many people are struggling to keep their homes warm this winter. But householders from across Merseyside and Cheshire can now receive support through the Don’t Freeze This Winter campaign.

Organised by local firm, Futureproof, the campaign aims to help people keep warm this winter by encouraging householders to take advantage of the government’s Energy Companies Obligation (ECO) initiative.

Through this, eligible households can receive full or partial grants towards the cost of an energy efficient boiler, which could save you £310 a year.

To widen the reach of this campaign, the Futureproof network have decided to team up with local charity Energy Projects Plus who have provided free and impartial energy advice to local residents for more than 18 years.

Adam Mitchell, director of the Futureproof network, said: “We have a duty to provide a long term solution for our clients, ECO is 100% FREE for those that qualify, which is why we want to form close relationships with companies such as Energy Projects Plus to ensure there are no blurred lines in the communication process.”
