DETECTIVES are investigating two burglaries that happened in Goostrey and Cranage earlier this month.
The first burglary took place between 7.15am and 5.20pm on Wednesday, January 15 at a property in Lea Avenue, Goostrey whilst the occupants were out.
Offenders entered the rear garden and smashed a French window before entering and stealing a quantity of jewellery and electrical goods.
The second took place at around 5.25pm on Wednesday, January 22 at a property in Armistead Way, Cranage whilst the occupants were out.
Offenders climbed onto a roof and smashed their way into a first floor bedroom window before entering and stealing a quantity of jewellery and electrical goods.
The offenders activated the house alarm and left on foot along Armistead Way and away from the property.
