A CHELFORD farm is inviting guests to join them and celebrate Farmhouse Breakfast Week for Charity.

Gill and Andrew Stubbs, of Astle Farm, will be welcoming visitors between Sunday, January 26 and Saturday, February 1 to join them for a ‘proper breakfast’.

Members of accommodation group Farm Stay UK will be serving up the Farmhouse Breakfasts to help the nation to ‘Shake Up Their Wake Up’, with 47 per cent of the nation regularly skipping breakfast.

The Cheshire Farmhouse Breakfast includes freshly laid eggs from free-ranging farm chickens, thick slices of bacon, freshly pressed apple juice from farm orchards, handmade crusty bread, homemade jam and creamy dairy butter.

There is a suggested donation of £8.50 for each breakfast and all proceeds will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charity at Alder Hey Hospital.

Andy Woodward, chief executive of Farm Stay UK, said: “We love getting involved with events like this, proper farmhouse breakfasts are served everyday throughout the year in our members’ accommodation so this is a chance to really show off and raise money for good causes at the same time.”
