A KNUTSFORD choir is encouraging people who need a boost, or a decent night’s sleep, to join their group.
Rock Choir, which runs weekly sessions in Knutsford, claims that recent research shows regular singing may benefit people who snore.
Kathryn Davies, who runs the sessions at the Civic Centre and Brook Street Chapel, was prompted to carry out a survey of how many members noticed a difference in their snoring since joining and 10pc of respondents said yes.
“We’re always looking for new members and husbands and partners are very welcome,” she said.
“They can even try a free taster session first. I can’t guarantee they’ll stop snoring but I can say that they’ll have a good time.”
