NATURE lovers will have a field-day with all that is on offer at Tatton Park this January and February.

Members of the Knutsford Ornithological Society and Darren Morris from Tatton’s Ranger Team are inviting budding bird watchers to join them for their Winter Wildfowl event on Sunday January 26.

Attendees will get a chance to get up close and personal with Tatton’s birdlife at the ‘Allen Hide’.  The experts will be on hand to dish out some identification tips, equipment and bird feeding advice and to answer any bird related questions.

On Tuesday January 21 and Tuesday February 4, the rangers will be out in force for their Deer Walks.  The rangers will be taking animal-lovers for a guided walk of the parkland to see Tatton’s deer in their natural surroundings.  The walk will finish at the Stables Restaurant where a light lunch awaits.

The Winter Wildfowl session is free of charge and will take place from 11am-1pm.  The Deer Walk will take place from 10am-12pm and is priced at £13 per person.  Participants must be 18 or over.
