POLICE have advised residents to be aware of a vehicle suspected to be linked to poaching in Knutsford.

At 2.15am on Saturday, January 4, a white Vauxhall Astra with yellow orange liveried markings on the rear was seen travelling along Sudlow Lane, Knutsford.

The vehicle had five male passengers on board, all of whom were wearing camouflage clothing.

In the rear of the vehicle were two lurcher dogs and lamping equipment.

The car was seen driving around Knutsford rural areas and police believe the occupants had been trespassing on farm land.

Anyone with information or who sees the vehicle should call Cheshire Constabulary on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
