FIREFIGHTERS were called to a fire involving a wooden mantle over a fireplace in Holmes Chapel on Thursday, January 2.
The fire, that happened at an address on London Road at 9.50am, was out on arrival but crews from the village's station inspected the area for further spread of fire and used a thermal imaging camera.
The crew then damped down the areas affected before leaving.
