STAFF of a Knutsford pub are raising a celebratory toast after being granted a civil marriage license.

For years, The Bells of Peover have been inundated with requests from engaged couples, and after the recent license grant, the Lower Peover venue can finally offer a complete wedding package.

General Manager at The Bells of Peover Andre Sievers said: “Due to overwhelming demand from engaged couples, it has long been our goal to gain this license and establish the pub as one of the UK’s top wedding venues, which we firmly believe it is.

“Lavish or low key, we have always prided ourselves on the quality of the wedding receptions held here. Now we’re looking forward to sharing the whole of the special day with our wonderful bride and grooms.”

Andre’s industry experience includes roles as Director of Food and Beverage at The Chester Grosvenor, Exclusive Hotels and The Lanesborough London.

The pub’s Head Chef Matthew Smith has worked at a range of establishments across the UK, including Hibiscus, in London, and Andrew Fairley’s restaurant at Gleneagles, in Scotland.
