WINTER visits to Tatton Park just got a little more sociable.

Tatton is inviting visitors to bring a friend for free to its gardens on selected days this winter.

The gardens are far from being an exclusive summer attraction, and particularly special during the winter months is Tatton’s pinetum.

The pinetum is a collection of sweet smelling pines from North America, China and Japan with some dating from the Egerton’s first collection in the 1840s and 50s.

Other winter favourites include the Japanese garden and the hot houses – where pineapples can be available to pick even on the shortest day of the year.

Visit on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday between January 7 and February 13 and get one free entry for every entry paid for.
