A SPECIAL guest from the North Pole took a detour to Tabley on December 11 to pay a visit to Peaks and Plains Housing Trust’s new development, Holly Grove.

Holly Grove, which comprises of eight properties, is now fully occupied, with all homes allocated to people with a connection to the area.

The Trust was joined by Santa and his entourage of reindeer at the development’s launch Wednesday.

The man in red welcomed residents, contractors, architects and stakeholders to enjoy mulled wine, mince pies and carols sung by the choir from Hurdsfield Community Primary School and each resident was presented with a Christmas wreath from the Peaks and Plains team.

Peaks and Plains chief executive Tim Pinder said: “Our event was a great opportunity to bring everyone together to celebrate the launch of Holly Grove and our special guests certainly brought plenty of festive spirit.”
