THE Holmes Chapel Rotary Club raised a total of £354 at a recent wine tasting event, with all proceeds donated to the End Polio Now charity.
The event was held at the Scout HQ in Holmes Chapel using a variety of Nick Reed’s wines and cheeses from Carol Williams shop in Sandbach.
Raffle prizes included a bottle of House of Commons wine, signed by Fiona Bruce MP, Mandevilles Holmes Chapel Christmas cake and chutney, tickets for a round of golf at Woodside Golf Club, and a restaurant voucher from Hazel Warr, owner of Cassio Vecchia Italian Restaurant in Sandbach.
