GEORGE Osborne MP lent his support to his volunteering constituents by joining them at the Christmas Card pop-up shop at the Curzon last month.
Combined Christmas Charity Shops raise money for a variety of charitable organisations through the sale of cards, calendars and other Christmas gifts and 100pc of proceeds go to the chosen charities.
The pop-up shop, which was manned by volunteers throughout the day, opened for business early November and closed up shop on Wednesday December 4.
Mr Osborne said: “Local volunteers in Knutsford do a fantastic job, raising money for national and local charities. The card shop at the Curzon cinema is now a feature of my Christmas every year and I like to visit and show my support.”
